Posted: 07/21/2013 | Employer: Bismarck State College ADJUNCT Animal SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR(S)(Internal/External)SUMMARY OF POSITION: Opportunities exist for part-time, temporary Animal Science Instructor(s) to teach an introductory Animal Science lab and/or lecture offered on-campus. Lab times are Monday and Wednesday from 1 pm - 4pm.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate bachelor's degree in agriculture discipline. Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., Outlook E-mail and Calendar, and strong Internet familiarity. Valid ND driver's license with the ability to drive a 15 passenger van. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate master's degree. Teaching experience. Experience with non-traditional teaching methods such as facilitating group work, use of inquiry-based and other active learning pedagogies, and/or contextualized instruction.COMPENSATION: Competitive salary will be based on degree and credit hours taught.APPLICATION DEADLINE: August 5, 2013 or until filled.
