I picked up some pizzas from our favorite local?pizzeria for dinner. ?We also had yummy Easter candy, bunny tails (cotton candy) and popcorn. ?I made sure to pick up some bunny ears for everyone to really "feel" like the movie as well. ?It was adorable!
There were two (almost) 5 year olds and one (almost) 3 year old watching the movie. ?Graham and his friend Claire (5 year olds) were the most interested in the movie. ?Grant (3 year old) would watch it off and on. ?The adults were probably the most interested only because the kids were more excited about seeing each other and playing! ?I think if we had watched the movie on our own Graham would have have paid even more attention. ?But really, who wants to watch a movie when you have friends and tons of candy?!
HOP is all about E.B. who is the son of the Easter Bunny and loves rock 'n roll. ?He really thinks his true calling is to be in a band and not to be the Easter Bunny. ?E.B. sets off to find himself in Hollywood and runs into Fred. ?Fred has his own struggles with family and the two ultimately end up becoming friends and getting into a little trouble along the way. ?In the end, they both realize the importance of family and each other! ?It really is a cute movie. ?HOP does have a few instances of innuendos that parents will pick up on that you may want to be aware of.
Right now you can purchase HOP Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy on Amazon for about $23. ?That is a great deal for so many options. ?We like to have one of each so that the movie can travel with ?us! If you have a free evening before Easter, a HOP screening party would be a fun way to have friends over or just to enjoy a family night. ?Find more fun ideas for your party night at the HOP Facebook page.
